Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Gareth Lee trading as Kingdom Metrics UK ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use LiveSeatPlan. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Who is the data controller?

For your account data (your email, name, plan status, payment history) we are the data controller.

For the guest data you upload (guest names, dietary requirements, table assignments etc.) you are the data controller and we act as your data processor, hosting and displaying that data on your behalf.

2. What we collect

  • Account: email address, hashed password (or Google account identifier), account creation date, plan status.
  • Events & guests: event names, table layouts, guest names and any additional fields you choose to enter.
  • Payments: handled directly by Stripe. We receive a payment reference and status; we do not see or store your card details.
  • Technical: minimal server logs (request paths, IP address, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

  • Contract: to provide the Service you asked for.
  • Legitimate interest: to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and improve it.
  • Legal obligation: to keep basic payment records for accounting purposes.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Sub-processors

To run the Service we use the following providers:

  • Lovable Cloud — application hosting and database (data hosted within the EU / UK region).
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Google — used only if you choose to sign in with Google.

5. Retention

We keep your account and event data for as long as your account is active, and for at least five (5) years from account creation as described in Section 2 of our Terms. You can request deletion at any time; we will delete your account and associated event and guest data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep limited records (e.g. payment records) for legal reasons.

6. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • request a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

To exercise any of these rights, email gareth@kingdommetrics.uk.

7. Cookies

We only use essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Notice.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to guest and event data is enforced by row-level security policies so that only you (and viewers of the share links you generate) can see your events.
